When the Sun begins to decay, the Galaxy Boy Troop is formed and heads to the ends of the Universe to find a way to restore the Sun's power. Along the way they must fight against evil forces that oppose them. The series contains a mix of puppets and animation. Note: The only known surviving episodes in the series are episode 67 (French broadcast only - it aired with original Japanese voices, but with voice-over French narration and large French subtitles for the regular dialogue), as well as episode 28 and animated portions of episode 87, both with missing audio.
