The story is centered around a small group of guerilla freedom fighters on a colonial planet named Deloyer, who are known as the Deloyer 7, or Fang of the Sun. In an unexpected coup, the elected Governor of Deloyer becomes dictator and rules Deloyer under martial law with the support of the Earth Federation. Fighting for independence from Federation influence, the freedom fighters begin a rebellion against the Federation using a Combat Armor of their own: the Dougram.
