Blade, the Vampire Hunter. Whilst pregnant with him, Blade's mother was attacked by a vampire. As a result, he was born as a Day Walker, with a mix of vampire and human blood flowing through his veins. He possesses the superhuman strength, senses, and regenerative abilities of vampires, but not their vulnerability to sunlight. By utilizing these strengths, combined with his skills in both armed and unarmed combat, he has vanquished many vampires. Blade has now come to Japan where he is confronted by Deacon Frost, the vampire who attacked his mother.
