The original story follows the human drama of the Yamazaki family in Tokyo in the Year Shouwa 39 (1964) — the year that the city hosted the Summer Olympics. Note: 4 episodes were pre-aired on various TV stations, earliest being Mie TV which aired an episode on 30.12.2010. Regular TV broadcast started in April of 2011. The pre-aired episodes were not the first 4 episodes of regular broadcasting, but were instead episodes 3, 5, 8 and 9.
