Onoda Sakamichi, a first-year student of Sohoku High School in Chiba, is a bit weak and loves anime. He was going to join the anime research club when he joined high school, but after his encounter with Imaizumi Shunsuke, a boy well-renowned in the middle school cycling world, and Naruko Shoukichi, a boy who won all the awards in Kansai's cycling competition, he makes the decision to join the competitive cycling club.
