* Based on the long-running shounen manga by Aoyama Goushou serialised in Weekly Shounen Sunday. While Kogoro plays Mahjong, Ran tells Conan about her Tanabata when she was young. Many years ago, her class had to write what they wished for and place it on a bamboo. Note: The Magic Files are a series of promotional OVA released to commemorate the beginning of the respectively related Meitantei Conan film, starting with the 2007 one. Additionally each OVA includes a second disc with unaired PPV episodes of the series.
