* Based on the seinen manga by Kazuto Izumi, serialised in Sunday GX. The mother of two sisters — Kyou (age 15) and Asu (age 9) — died from an illness and their father, heavily in debt, mysteriously disappeared. Presently they are living in a small, miserable apartment trying to get by on the little money the older sister earns from her part-time job.
