* Based on the manga by Black Point. In the late 24th century, after a 300 year war between the Earth and Halmacfutz, humanity has been conquered. And though there is now a peace between the two races, the war has left many scars behind, but a greater menace has appeared in the galaxy that threatens them all. The year is 2400 — The Halmacfutz, also known as the Crest Race for the seemingly tattooed shapes on their bodies that endow them with psychic-elemental powers, come under attack by this new threat, the Automatons, who slip in and take over their systems, using their own machines against them. One of their ships, the massive colony battleship Peansard, becomes infected by one of these creatures, as it kills all those aboard. A distress signal draws the Earth ship Tetraskelion to the Crest ship's aid, but the call for help was a ruse, and the advance search team comes under attack, as does their starship. After a fierce firefight, the only remaining crew aboard the Tetraskelion are Galory, a half human-half Crest boy; the war-weary and battle-hardened human/cyborg soldier Nikolai; a Crest Magical Warrior and the ship's defence and tactical officer Jennings; the ship's AI computer LM; and a rescued Crest girl Althea. It is up to them to save those left from the advance party, and to prevent this Type-38 Automaton from continuing on to other ships or planets.
