Set in Tokyo during the early part of the 20th century, Doomed Megalopolis tells the disturbing story of a powerful mystic's obsession with his conquest of "The greatest City on Earth". Unfortunately for the evil wizard Kato - his dark arts awaken the long dead Masakato - the legendary guardian of Tokyo. Unable to stand alone against the power of Masakato, the calculating Kato "violates" an unsuspecting woman in hope of producing an offspring capable of challenging the divine strength of Tokyo's mystical protector. But Kato never counted on the effect that a team of unlikely heroes would have on his sinister plans. Nor could he anticipate the destruction his spells would cause to millions of innocent citizens.
