After graduating from high school, the 18-year-old Suzukaze Aoba joins a game company called EagleJump as a character designer. It turns out, the person who created the character designs for the game that Aoba so loved while still in grade school just happens to be Yagami Kou, her senior at the company. Aoba quickly becomes friends with the energetic, light-sabre-prop-swinging member of the motion team Shinoda Hajime, and with the other character team members: the shy Takimoto Hifumi, and the outspoken Iijima Yun.
