I meant that Cygames made both anime. They were animated by different companies.

@DmonHiro I know you probably separate subtitle files for people who want only subs, but there is animetoshi, which does it automatically, so why bother?

@Asakura why bother muxing them in in the first place?

to avoid any font problems? while you can include fonts in .ass, it's very buggy, so it's better to just mux them. also this way it's more portable

Muxing also allows setting proper track metadata (e.g. language, forced on/off, default, etc.)

@nala_alan & cheekyKoala use whatever fonts you want and you can add the track data yourself, those are just things you can do yourself... easy as pie
