does the HEVC 10 bit look better than the BDMV 8bit source?
the video quality look really good, just the fonts for the subtitles are rather poor
Did you use the old or new Blu-ray? If I remember correctly, the newer used increased saturation.
OMG - the video quality of this is absolutely AMAZING! What source did you use?? Nothing else that I've seen uploaded here even comes close! Is this simply the quality of the most recent Bluray releases or did you AI Upscale the episodes yourself? Really curious to know!
I do have a caveat however... unfortunately the sound quality of the OVA + Season 2 are really poor :(
As mentioned, MAD respect for the image quality, it's stunning! But would you consider doing an update where you fix the poor sound quality of the OVA + Season 2?
If you did, this would truly be the definitive version of Spice & Wolf :)
AMAZING my ass, these encodes have been heavily modified/filtered beyond recognition compared to the original BD sources. If you like it, good, none of my business, if you want to watch anime faithful to the source (the way they are supposed to look), this is trash.
