Description

With his parents abroad, Kimihito Kurusu lived a quiet, unremarkable life alone until monster girls came crowding in! This alternate reality presents cutting-edge Japan, the first country to promote the integration of non-human species into society. After the incompetence of interspecies exchange coordinator Agent Smith leaves Kimihito as the homestay caretaker of a Lamia named Miia, the newly-minted "Darling" quickly attracts girls of various breeds, resulting in an ever-growing harem flush with eroticism and attraction.

Unfortunately for him and the ladies, sexual interactions between species is forbidden by the Interspecies Exchange Act! The only loophole is through an experimental marriage provision. Kimihito's life becomes fraught with an abundance of creature-specific caveats and sensitive interspecies law as the passionate, affectionate, and lusty women hound his every move, seeking his romantic and sexual affections. With new species often appearing and events materializing out of thin air, where Kimihito and his harem go is anyone's guess!

2 audio tracks and the video track compressed into ~100MB? I'll never understad what's the point of making these overcompressed releases that are inferior even to stream quality. Especially in a genre like this where visuals are maybe the most important.

@fukken_weeb, compressed size for who has small storage. Many encoders upload upscaled quality for those who has sufficient storage.

@MeGaTroN
I don't know what settings you used to encode this, but Monster Musume has a native framerate of 23.976 (industry standard). Why you decided to encode everything at 29.97 fps is beyond me. If you take a look at your results you'll see that each second of footage now contains 5 duplicate frames, resulting in stuttery motion (most noticeable during pan/zoom scenes). I recommend you stick to the original framerate when encoding, otherwise the result will be messy.

@Zoneka
If you stream, you get better framerate and you don't have to store anything. The only reason I could think of this being a viable alternative to other much better quality version is to store it on an cellphone or tablet with 8 to 16GB storage capacity, and you won't have to use your mobile data for streaming, but even then, there is no point keeping this any longer than it is expected to seed back.

i'm fine with this quality and filesize... i'm always watching animes on my way to work and i'm using "samsung galaxy s" (samsung mediaplayer, android 2.0). both, the old mediaplayer and the filesize of your upload,are enough for 90 minutes...
