Big difference between creating a remux from scratch with mostly raw sources, modifying subs, adding English audio and crediting all the sources involved. It’s an entirely new product. Besides, it’s not like we don’t encode some of our releases ourselves or do TS/subs/karaoke from scratch.

How is that the same as grabbing a remux that’s already at archive-quality level and converting audio to AAC?

Yes, huge difference between dropping two mkvs into mkvmerge and setting the track order and languages than just doing one. It's a whole extra click.
