Why does it even matter if you can't see his mediainfo? 1080p for 500mb seems legit enough.

I wish I knew how to strip them myself but then again I want to know what guys be settings there's at.

The problem with stripping the SEI is that if there's a bitstream bug in x264 and popular decoders that later gets fixed, decoders can't work around the bug in a backwards-compatible way, meaning the video will fail to decode properly depending on your decoder version. This has happened before.

A real, non-hypothetical example of where the SEI is important is the FFF release of KonoSuba. The only reason we can play it is because FFmpeg's H.264 decoder contains a workaround for the older, bugged x264 that encoded it. Which it enables based on the SEI.
