Great, an adaptation that is a sequel of a manga that was cancelled by the author when it was reaching it's final arc.

We all knew this day would come. So, if we haven’t read Negima, can we still watch this and understand it, or there’ll be too many elements from its parent story for anyone who has only watched the anime “adaptations” to follow along?

uq holder is one of the best manga I read... so hope not to be
disappointing like negima anime....

@HomemadeAntsyPuppet if base on manga, yes it still can entertain you but it hard to tell when it adapt to anime. in the wrong (director) hand it can be the most shitty show so far.

Well, for the 720p it probably doesn’t matter much. With the 1080p version you can see much of a difference.
Hidive looks like shit with their crf=22 cancer and Amazon pretty good.
But no one wanting quality should download the lower bitrate 720p anyway.

I made a comparison with all English simulcasts.
Wakanim > Amazon > Hidive
No one is sharing Wakanim on Nyaa, so Amazon (HorribleSubs) is the best one you can get without paying.

@aryma_saga: Just look at the Media Info on AnimeTosho. The CRF values are usually a clear indicator.

Oh. It's just that people really complain about it. Hidive is sometimes faster than Amazon.
For Amazon you can't see the crf value anymore, but you can see them on really old rips. They probably haven't changed it.

Also it's pretty easy to tell. Just rip it on your own and compare it. Or for Amazon you can see it by the hardsubbed typeset.
