Description
This is a re-encode of SCUM’s torrent in x265
No alterations have been made aside from the codec used. Quality is comparable to the original IMO

Highly doubt that the quality is comparable (haven't made comparisons), but at least nice for people with bad Internet I guess.
This is an anime with beautiful landscapes so choosing quality over smaller size is a better choice imo.. Downloading eXmendic's own!
I took screenshots and compared the stills side by side, and i struggled to notice any blocking, artifacting or other weirdness. Audio was done on passthrough as well, so it should be the exact same quality there.
Added some comparison sliders to the post for those interested. I cant see any differences aside from maybe SLIGHT contrast changes in shadowed areas. I use the same encode settings in handbrake/vidcoder for all of my HEVC remakes and it works amazingly well.
I see more banding there. The action scenes also matter more btw (like OP). So up to the people if they prefer small file size.
