[Chotab] Dragon Ball Super - 001-013 (BD, 1080p 10-bit, Dual Audio)

Default audio is Japanese, songs + signs track included for dub viewers. No subs in the secondary track for the ending theme as it's been dubbed in English and it was too incomprehensible to transcribe the lyrics.

720p 8-bit and 10-bit releases to follow. I'll update my other Chotab releases with the English dub as the Blu-rays are made available.

@Basheer33, after I've seeded a couple of things I will upload a FLAC audio pack for people to mux into the encodes if they'd like. They'll sync with any video sourced from the R2 Blu-rays.

@Chouonsoku Thank You for doing this and also can you do a comparison of your encode to SOFCJ-Raws and OGG's encode?
I have SOFCJ-Raws i compared it to OGG's but i don't think it was fair comparison because i'm a noob at this stuff.

Chouonsoku is your upcoming 720p release better than the 1080p? Usually I get 1080p but I seem to remember you or somebody saying DBS is supposed to be 720p. Is it true or am I confused? I want to watch this in the best version of your opinion. Thank you

This is great! With KamiFansubs also taking a long time getting Ep 25 out (still not uploaded) will you be uploading the rest of the episodes?

@mintas71 I was mistaken on that front, according to others DBS is animated at ~900p, and at the very least more than 720p. So the 1080p is worth it which is why I started releasing it at that res.

@Suliuqa I'll be releasing these 1080p sets as the Funi Blu-rays are made available, I've released up to episode 60 in 720p but without the dub track. New packs will come ~3 months apart if the current BD schedule holds up.

OGG was resized for easier comparison, the files are actually 1916x1080. Images are PNG format so just open them in new tabs and flick through for easy comparison.

@Chouonsoku Thanks for the comparison will take your release and waiting for the English FLAC Audio and i hope for the next parts you will include dual FLAC Audio by Default.

@Basheer33 FLAC audio will never be included in my 1080p files for the Engish dub, only for the Japanese track. It's just not a priority and above all these releases are for me, I just share them with the kind folks here because I love Dragon Ball.

Since you requested it though I will be sure to always post an English FLAC pack with each of these releases. The pack will be up tonight, I'll link to it here.

@Morata these are 10-bit x264 files with FLAC 2.0 audio for the Japanese track and Dolby Digital 5.1 @ 640 kbps for the English dub with styled subtitles for the full episode and a songs + signs track for viewing with the dub.

@Morata the second volume of Dragon Ball Super from Funimation does not come out until October, likely will hit the internet a few weeks before that.

@Suliuqa I have a lot of things to seed and I have to split my bandwidth (180 kb/s on a good day) between various trackers and uploads but I'm trying to get this out to you quickly.

Why didn't you use the video source as the R1 blu ray?

I wanted to make it with the audio pack but wanted this because of subs for signs and songs.

@Raiyan23, R2 Blu-ray is higher quality, as is usually the case. I compared both sources when Funimation's set came out in case I needed to do a new encode.

And yeah, you can throw this into a batch release.

@kamikazilucas, You'd have to ask Funimation. These are the audio files as they were extracted from the discs.

Is part 2 still planned?

It seems Part 2 won't be Happening

It's already happened, just haven't uploaded it here yet. Have my time split up between various projects and my internet is too slow to prioritize all of them at once. I'm sure the other dub releases of my encodes will be here eventually.
