The audio is very quiet, at least on episode 1, yet some sound effects are crazy loud, like at 6:12

If you use VLC. right click -> sounds -> stereo mode -> stereo

@ilias as far as i can tell thats just how stardust crusaders is mixed. I am having the same issue with another torrent as well of this part. My solution is to use a compressor.

^in addition i looked at the audio in a spectral analyzer and this is indeed true lossless audio meaning it is almost certainly directly from BD, as claimed. So yes it would appear the BD just has kind of wonky mixing.
