Description

These are true DVDrips of Series 1, Series II and Series III of Star Blazers in english. No alterations have been made.

Broadcast TV and home VHS copies contained several differences from these home DVD releases though not many. Biggest difference is Series III. When broadcast on TV or sold on VHS, Series III used the Series II method of cropping/freeze frame to eliminate the Japanese captions. When the DVD remaster was made it was decided to expose the Japanese captions.

Always good to have the originals handy in your collection for archival purposes.

Great upload, chad. For reference, these rips look great and include the "yamato fought bravely and to the end!" scene in s01e01!
