This is an encode from the raw mpeg2 ts (found here: #498829) with subs taken from HorribleSubs.

It is noticeably higher quality, main noticeable difference would be color quality. Here are some comparisons.

Ads were cut out using Avidemux. (No encoding done via this)

It was encoded using ffmpeg:

ffmpeg -i cut.ts -c:v libx264 -crf 18 -tune animation -preset veryslow -vf pullup,gradfun -c:a libvorbis -qp 0 out.mkv

Subs had to be slightly re-timed with Aegisub, which were then muxed in with mkvtoolnix.
