Misc info:
Encoding details:
- Filtering: Source merging (CR Majin/CR+AMZN), strong denoising & mild line cleaning
- Encoder: SVT-AV1-Essential:
--preset 3 --crf 30
Batch note: New encodes with higher quality sources, better filtering and settings (yes even the two v3 eps over v2), the result is lower encode bitrates of about 5-15% with similar or better visual quality than before, but yeah despite my efforts that show remains challenging to get into low filesizes due to all the noise; higher audio quality (higher bitrate source and output); subtitles sourced from AnoZu and English from [LUMi]; manually adjusted chapters timing... Stay smug like Sitara and enjoy! See y'all again for the eventual BD batch...
Tired of VLC acting up with Opus audio, with subtitles, with color rendition? We recommend the MPV media player for the best playback experience (TheWiki Guide). Always keep your software up-to-date!
Language Options
You can download here two scripts that do the following (Windows/macOS-Linux):
- Keep Japanese: Throws out all audio tracks other than Japanese
- Keep English: Throws out all audio and subtitles tracks other than English
Put all the video files into the Language Options folder and run the corresponding script. The resulting files can be found in the output folder.
Note: MKVToolNix must be installed on your system
