This is the first encoding of the show from the Discotek Blu-ray releases that I am aware of. Includes the first OP "19 O'Clock News" (19時のニュース) by Tokio that was absent from the DVD release by Funimation due to licensing issues. Single season with episodes numbered 1-102 following AniDB/MAL instead of two 51-episode seasons. Episodes 1-51 (aka Season 1) are dual audio with a corresponding signs/lyrics subtitle track.

The original BD was telecined to 30 fps with severe interlacing artifacts; this encoding has been detelecined and cleaned up. Subtitles are the official ones in PGS format. I did not attempt to add text-only subtitles as they would need to be retimed.
