About This Release
Bleach (2004) is one of the most important anime of the 2000s, yet it has terrible quality episodes on western home releases and streaming services. VIZ's US DVDs, Blu-Rays and Disney+ versions are notorious for having jagged blurry line art, heavy haloing, artificial sharpening, incorrect handling of interlacing, and poor upscale of SD sources. So we set out to compile a complete BLEACH experience including chapters, dual audio, stylised subtitles synced and timed.
The BLEACH Japanese Blu-Ray Box only has canon episodes, so they were used as a main source. For the Filler episodes we used the R2J DVDs.

Q: Can I watch this on any media player?
A: Yes! All fonts are embedded, so subtitles will display correctly on any device without installing fonts. mpv is recommended though.
Q: What changed from V1?
A: V1 had legitimate problems, lossy re-encodes, missing fonts, inconsistent styling. V2 addresses all of these concerns. V2 includes the complete series, dual audio, proper subtitles, best available sources for each episode canon or filler. It's not claiming to be the only valid release, just a comprehensive one.

@cosmic Okay-Raws doesn’t exist for episodes 1-167 if you want a r2jDVD encode then I’d recommend pursua’s release. Says this in the description.

Can't call it definitive if you use the worst video for 167 episodes. There's also a ton of issues with the subs still.. couple seconds spent checking Season 9 and you can see:
1: Subs have encoding issues you didn't fix any of them.. e.g "Fiancé".
2: Fonts are screwed, "They're" apostrophe gets encoded to special characters
3: No subs for OP/ED
4: No subs for Omake
You didn't QC it, its still a shit release. I spent less than 20 seconds checking.
@Alister2310 why should anyone be greatful for a release thats worse than everything else out there? Whats there to be thankful for apart from someone wasting their time and then lying about a release being the best/definitive when its not.. which in turn causes more people who cant be bothered comparing or putting even any effort in to think its a better release when its not.. which can lead to the best releases getting less seeds. Its a net negative. No one could QC 366 episodes in a couple days.
Why not just make a webpage that links to the best releases for each set of episodes that already exist here to help keep them seeded, or put actual time into improving the subs.
@MetalicBox is there an alternative to the filler episodes with English subs for OP ED and Omake with dual audio synced to okay raws or any r2jdvd source? You won’t find one.
In my opinion this is a solid foundation to further build and improve upon what has been done here. These Sub issues for the filler episodes can be patched easily in the future. Nobody is claiming this to be a definitive release don’t see it mentioned anywhere here.
Your logic also makes no sense you do know the most popular batch release of BLEACH on here is US BD Judas or Disney+ encodes. Even before this was uploaded the okay raws torrents for BLEACH are dead, had to get them from someone who already downloaded them. One of the best sources for episodes not even being preserved.
This release has collected a lot of sources people can swap out sources fix subs add other language subs and audio tracks. It’s better than what’s widely available at the moment. Because the best sources are far from widely available for ALL 366 episodes.

@DBZimran Funny, I've already made alt subs for Season 9 but thanks for telling me to do something I've already done when its your release and you didnt bother looking for alt sources.... I also have a v2 of them which is a lot better but im not going to post it for you to use, with your shitty attitude. This is your release mate.

Is there any reason why you didn't sync the US BD pgs subs to the canon and filler episodes?
@DBZimran You cant take the high-road after your comments on the last torrent you deleted where you lashed out at people when they pointed out how you had basically every filler episode encoded from lossy to lossy AV1 with OPUS but also forgot to remove FLAC audio and the audio was 2-3x the size of the video...
Still a good alternative release. Just download what you want.
