The old ("good") version is not 100% compliant with modern bittorrent spec, and the new ("bad") version is full of bloatware and spyware
If you're on Windows, just use qBittorrent. It was literally built as an open-source replacement to uRotten to emulate its old functionality before it became a piece of shit.
