As some of you might have heard, Crunchyroll is getting rid of their styled ASS subtitles in favor of significantly worse closed caption-like subtitles. This is a very terrible decision, as one of the very few reasons why Crunchyroll was the best choice for anime, was due to them actually putting in the effort of styling their subtitles for a lot of their shows, similar to fansub groups. This is likely a cost cutting measure, but its perfectly fine for them to increase subscription prices while decreasing the quality of their entire service overall... right? 😒 More information can be found here.
