Why does so much of the dialogue sound like peoples voices are speaking through a mask? Sometimes it sounds crunchy/staticy too? It's especially noticeable on the female characters for some reason.

Sometimes it's fine but then randomly the speech sounds like it was encoded at 2.4 kbps.

Is this a Judas problem, did someone take a lossy source and re-encode it to AAC again, or was the source really this bad? I've never heard stereo AAC at 192 kbps sound this bad with speech.

@nph You didnt even write what soundtrack and what episode you have a problem with. Is it English or original? all episodes or one specific?
