Release

A complete Dual Audio release encoded in AV1 and OPUS for optimum size and quality. Files are named to support media servers like Plex using TVDB metadata.

Encoding Details:

We rescaled using ARTCNN, fixed borders, and dehaloed the GBRBD via VapourSynth and encoded with our SWAN system to target a SSIMULACRA2 score of ~90. Thanks to Aliciä for their procedural recommendations for fixing edges.

This project is a production with the goal of the smallest video size with minimal subjective compromises to image quality. This is not the hallmark of AV1, but close enough. This release should only contain changes to the video stream and audio tracks. The subtitle and attachment tracks are usually copied from the noted sources. Timings are not adjusted except in cases of extreme delay as a result of mixing sources. - SavI0r-Pro

@nph: Thank you for the report. We have good news and bad news. The good news is we didn't cause the artifact! Hooray! We get to keep our jobs! The bad news is that the artifact is from the source and we double-checked with a fresh download. Typically this kind of artifact is usually caused by the decoder implementation used (FFMS2, DGDecNV, L-SMASH-WORKS, BestSource, etc.) by Av1an as we have seen in our older releases and not by the encoder. Though if this artifact were considered "very large" then those artifacts would be considered colossal. Nevertheless, this artifact has been reproduced identically in both releases further pointing to a source or decoder issue. We don't have access to the raw GBRBD; only what Meakes provides in their release. They may be able to further answer whether the artifact is from the BDMV or their muxing process.
