i remember comparing fatcatraws, shiniori, and the jumonji releases, and found that jumonji had the best overall look but used shitty ordered chapters, shiniori was bit-starved, and fatcatraws had the bits and showed the most detail but had the most fucked colours and contrast
so i tried tinkering around with the colour and brightness controls in mpc-hc because the raws as is look oversaturated and over-contrasted

my settings (brightness+17 contrast-23 saturation-13)
this was my goal which i got using a photo editor but sadly mpc-hc lacked the controls to achieve this
it's nice to know that you could attempt to make it look closer to the original dvd's more subdued colours
