This project is a production with the goal of the smallest video size with moderate subjective compromises to image quality. This is not the hallmark of AV1, but close enough. This release should only contain changes to the video stream and audio tracks. The subtitle and attachment tracks are usually copied from the noted sources. Joe, you don't have to post every passing thought you have about a release. Every "concern" I've seen from you is almost always painfully trivial and many come from a fundamental misunderstanding of the technicalities of encoding or how muxing works. If you aren't sure why something is different in a new release of a series you already have, just... don't complain? You don't have to say anything. Obviously any new release you don't understand the reason for was made for reasons that are completely irrelevant to you, such as minor changes to the video encoding process to pacify pixel autists such as small bitrate boosts on underperforming scene slices that you won't notice because you're blind, or adding a language audio track that you would never notice since you're a militant EN-dubslop enjoyer, or whatever else you don't care about or understand.

In this case, the languages that were added have unique glyphs that, when all combined, add up quickly to 20 MB worth of additional data, especially if they use fonts that aren't common system fonts (necessitating that the font file be embedded in the MKV). Some Chinese language fonts can be over 100 MB, although thankfully they don't use any of those particular ones here. I'm sure you just assumed "adding subtitles" only involved muxing in lines of text from an .ass file. That's not the case.
