MTL was used as a base for efficiency's sake. The subs were then manually revised using the manga as a reference, and for quality control & timing. While I can't guarantee every line is accurate to what the VA's are saying word-for-word, the intent/meaning is intact.

@NekoTrix Yes, revising a single anime episode (with no extravagant TS) is around a 60-90 minute job for me.

It’s next week. And if that doesn’t have english, it’s a batch sometime this year (Netflix haven’t said when)

@Kabbu As Nebula said, there was no description. I might've watched it if they took their time revising the MTL subs (very low chance of that tho), but they just took a few hours to finish it lmao. Will wait on Netflix's release, and I very much hope someone fansubs the episode.

@bassgs435 Today was the Netflix Japan release. Next week is the Netflix Asian one. The international release hasn't been confirmed, but leaks talk about September.

You actually have to blame the production for it, they took the money for an exclusivity deal. Netflix just said "how many zero's do you want?"

That makes them accomplices. Also bad, but they didn't force Netflix to resurrect their goddamn batch release bullshit. Today we have another Netflix exclusive (Summer when Hikaru Died) getting a normal weekly simulcast. For some reason they decided Fragrant Flower needed this jail bullshit. Sakamoto Days, too. A week of delay, but it's still international weekly simulcast. Netflix decided to screw over this show in particular for no good reason. They're the ones that made the choice.
