ykw the author has some clear fetishes that encroach onto his work but at least it wasn't a 20 episode flashback of the past like another anime we had this season... but yeah other than like 2 of the fight scenes it felt like ass you are right, even though the animation is good. I think it's because the quirks of the characters are just too much. Somehow nearly all of the characters are completely insufferable, villains and not and I really have no fucking idea how he does it, lmao. I think the biggest problem is Subaru and especially how everybody this season just wanked each other off and we only had a single reset which wasn't a problem to work around. The cringe hope everyone has and the fact nobody got permanently done in especially just feels like a huge asspull, and the 30 minute fucking inspo speech was really stupid. Schizo rant over
