Observations: first comp was made by me on release, 2nd comp was made by YURASUKA on their later release. The 2nd comp clearly shows how powerful AV1 is (as seen also with the Maquia encodes), since my encode achieves comparable quality to theirs at just 46% of the bitrate.
Advices: to avoid any lag during playback of scenes with heavy grain, use MPV or MPC-HC/BE with MadVR (see the guide below)
