The tournament is one big disappointment of this great anime. Not to mention there are no repercussions for the arrogant bitch Hinata and those Western church punks who came to Jura with intentions to murder everyone. This is the result of a flawed ideal that everyone is equal when Rimuru is still hung up on being a human.
The fact is all the monsters were possibly human before they reincarnated but they have no memories of their last lives unlike Rimuru and all the humans were possibly monsters in their previous life too. It's so irritating when the story doesn't treat everyone as equals while building itself upon the ideal of equalism. Fuck those crack head writers. Talking about fundamentally flaw eh?
