Which one is better for first watch, old one or new one?

You can go ahead and watch this one.
@exnyaa New one. It's slightly more faithful to the LN and includes the 4th book that was skipped in the original adaptation for some reason. They're also gonna continue the remake with Season 2, not the original. So not much point in watching the original really. Especially since the voice actors, the music (remixed/rearranged) and the director is the same. No reason to watch the old one unless you're just really curious or just an oldfag with nostalgia for late 2000s anime artstyle who can't get over the fact that Holo now looks and acts like she's supposed to.
