Description

A dual-audio remux of Yousei-raws' Blu-ray encode with lossless Japanese audio via Shimatta, the Netflix English dub synced by NoEffort, Golo (Eclipse) subtitles recolored to white/black & repositioned by Shimatta and restyled to Gandhi Sans by NoEffort and accompanying signs & songs tracks created by NoEffort, with filenames, file titles and track names renamed and default/forced flags improved by me. In short:

Shimatta + English dub + signs & songs track + font restyle
OR NoEffort with the FLAC audio returned and English audio marked as "default" also
plus various metadata improvements

@herkz soon, but not before season 3 I guess, since that one will have no fansub at all at first. these subs aren't perfect, sure, but I'd say they're quite cozy and evoke a certain sense of nostalgia, which feels pretty nice for an older anime. not that a new fansub shouldn't even be attempted to be made, but I wouldn't call the dialogue and the signs/songs in these "bad", certainly a nicer alternative to store for the newcomers to the franchise to catch up with before the third season.

i mean the choices for season 1 are eclipse (who sucks) but they do have typesetting, etc. or the official subs which probably suck even worse since it's NISA and you don't even get the typesetting and such there. i'd do it myself but it's a lot of work. probably why no one else has either.

also i probably will sub season 3 since nothing else next season looks interesting.

yeah, you're right, and I do appreciate their typesetting. please do, if you're able to, I very much look forward to it. although please have a look in the gjm discord server first for some relevant info on the third season.

I'm also only interested in a few shows next season, about half a dozen or so.
