Genji Monogatari - The Tale of Genji (1987) [Working Subs] [BD 1080p H.265 OPUS]

After seeing the deplorable state of the subtitles in every other BD release, we decided to do this work of art justice by fully retiming the ones from a VHS release, which seem to be the preferred English translation. Furthermore, a few missing lines have been added, and the subtitles have been revised for the sake of flow, consistency, and accuracy. We used Montec's BD Remux as a video source, but encoded it for a smaller file size without compromising on quality. Filtering has not been performed to preserve the beauty of the film.

Since this is the first time we have done something like this, there might be some flaws, although it is still undoubtedly preferable to the current BD releases because of the subtitles alone. If you do not like it, you're more than welcome to swap it for something else.
