Have they already started using AI for translations? I keep seeing Freezing instead of Frieren from time to time and healer anime also had Used-kun instead of Usato.

@Chipp12 I wouldn't put past CR to pull that crap so soon but you might be seeing things. There are plenty of made up lines, but that's just par for the course for these fucking troonslators. As time goes on you learn to rely on your ears instead of your eyes.

For one thing, it wasn't Crunchyroll who was talking about using AI for translations... it was literally Japan. For another thing, the plan was to have a human translator still do another pass for TLC and editing after that, so extremely obvious shit like that shouldn't make it in.

With that out of the way, you are absolutely just seeing things. That, or you aren't watching Crunchyroll rips like this one to begin with.
