While looking for subtitles for this I've noticed, people do seem to get quite heated up with encodes of this anime... I'm not really trying to or wanting to take someone else's place, I just wanted to do an encode of an anime I personally like.
This has been done for a bit, waiting while I sorted things out because I got new hardware! Well not brand new, but new to me and stronger than my previous stuff, so I was still moving things around and settling everything into place. This was the last work and parting gift of my old 3600! thing really had a harsh life on my hands, but it finally can move on to a better, nicer environment.
The Ending Theme CD, I already had it lying around since long long ago, and I'm not sure what the source was, so I couldn't list it here, but the OST album came with the main source.
Some zoning was used, a lot because the opening and ending that would balloon the size of the whole file. The WCOP and WCED (With Credits OP/ED) though use the same target quality as the episodes did.
I wish we had more anime with 5.1 audio, that is one thing I always liked about this one actually.
And I just noticed after creating the torrent that I forgot the hashes for this one, but, does anyone actually check them? If so I can drop them on pastebin instead of creating another torrent.
As usual, my releases are meant to be watched using mpv and listened using Foobar2000. It probably works on other players but that is beyond me.
You can view the JXL files with mpv, by simply dragging and dropping it there or calling it via command line and passing the image path, or if you prefer a proper image viewing solution, on Windows I recommend IrfanView, ImageGlass or jpegview
Still looking for the following things! Preferably ISOs but any Raw, Remux, Bloated or Good Encode work. Very High Priority! The older the medium it was sourced from or the less censored it is, the better!

Really expected FLAC to die out with AVC/HEVC but guess not.
Lossless and lossy do and target different things, one can't just expect flac "to die" just like one can't expect, idk aac for example to die. Also HEVC still has it's strengths and isn't dying anytime soon, AVC too will probably continue being used for many more years simply because of the sheer amount of devices that only support it and so on.
Just because you may not use it anymore it doesn't mean the whole world doesn't either.
That being said, lossy audio was a mistake :omegalul:
It's just a silly pairing, is all. Especially when anime tracks have nothing in them FLAC worthy.
Well considering, for example, the first thing I would do if I had a 4090 and a 14900K with some sick gen5 SSD raid array would be to play some osu probably at 1080p, I like that image XD
If anime for you has nothing flac/lossless worthy, maybe you don't like it as much as it seems then lul
Priorities differ from people to people after all
I'm just saying the perceptual difference is so low that it would be better off spent on more hard drive space, or more video pixels. 😂 When using a highly efficient codecs like AV1 and JPEG-XL, you'd expect also expect to see Opus. But yeah, you do you.
