It is a bit disingenuous to show a comp in the description that doesn't include the source you encoded from. https://slow.pics/c/GbOg5Mes Your encode looks better than them all, just bit sad to see you blur the lines with this "image comparison".

I make comparisons against releases that I see as my "competition." For web releases, I only see my real competition as being subsplease. There is no need to talk about being disingenuous or whatever.

It's more misleading that anything, because what if the encode was worse than SubsPlus' video (in this case being ADN)?
Sure the encode would be better than SubsPlease, but the better alternative would end up being an ADN mux with your subs, which doesn't give a good look to your release imo.
Listing all sources in a comp at least removes any doubt about the other easily (and timely) available videos.

Well, I'm glad we all agree that my encode is not actually worse than ADN, making this an entirely pointless discussion. I am not going to change my comp-making process to include every single source under the sun, either for WEB or BD. Including ADN is not the end of things; a really complete comp would include Amazon CBR and Amazon VBR as well. Feel free to continue posting more complete comps in my comments sections if you desire.

Not sure I can really agree with the change from "idol" to "pop star", not even just because the two really aren't interchangeable or because idol culture has been well known in the west for years by now, but also because, considering the other boys' comments on what they'd like to see from her in future and the lack of any allusion to her singing whatsoever, the magazine also seems to reach into the "gravure" kind of idols.
