Though there is a kernel of truth. I can tolerate having Eng dubs, but am annoyed that on dual audio rips always the English audio is the default. And dual audio is the standard for subbed BD rips therefore English default audio is the standard for subbed BD rips. And it is also true that I prefer honorifics having honorifics in the subs. So out of all the options, for me this is the worst of all. Even to 'fix' for myself.

I can't set language preferences in my shitty video player so I shit up the nyaa comments complaining about language options existing.

That would be annoying elsewhere. Or ineffective at best. I'm not native English speaker and it's not only Japanese media that I consume.

Rather than removing them, why not making another track with it? It's not like you have to put extra work since they already exist....

Edit: oh, you meant honorifics and non-honorifics tracks. To answer that, I just prefer non-honorifics
