Just a question:what is the reason to do 3GiB or bigger files? Device specific? HW players?
smaller filesizes sacrifice visual quality, and we want it to look as beautiful as possible

If you have a 80" 8k TV for monitor, maybe it is reasonable. On a 15" laptop (screen res max 720p) just a waste.
If you watch a F1 race, high bitrate and fps are recommended, but for an average anime.... no significant difference.
