Summary
Nian Bing is the son of a fire mage and an ice mage. After both of his parents were killed by the Ice Lord, Nian Bing received both of his parents' magic gems. When Nian Bing was trying to escape from the Ice Lord's followers, he managed to cast both fire and ice magic at the same time. An impossible feat for a mage. He fell from the cliff, unconscious, and was saved by an oldman. After he woke up, the oldman gave him a food so delicious he never tasted before. It turned out that the oldman was a genius chef, once called a spirit chef. And he wants Nian Bing to be his disciple no matter what! Is Nian Bing able to seek vengeance while aiming to become the greatest chef?

suggest watching at 80% speed. the mandarin is spoken VERY fast and makes reading subtitles RUSHED and annoying IMHO.
Potplayer is a fantastic video player and has special code to make spoken words sound NORMAL at slower speeds. To slow down just click the playback tab in console and click SLOWER and it goes down to 90% 80% 70% so forth with each click. Slower is ESPECIALLY useful when trying to learn another language as well. Other players have similar functions but the code to sound normal when slower is unique to Potplayer I believe.

Hey @Father_Snrub...glad your still hangin around. Nice hearin from ya. If you havent checked out some of my others like Throne of Seal. Spirit Sword Sovereign, Peerless Martial Spirit etc. Give em a run. And of course lets not forget the ever popular Battle thru the Heavens Season 5 has now been edited as well thru episode 66. BTTH I give credit that the music etc is actually enjoyable BUTTT after 66 episodes of the same thing even enjoyable music becomes obnoxius. haha It adds up quick too - in just 66 episodes of BTTH I removed 5.5 hours of digital junk. Magic Chef music is also pretty good as well but 113 episodes later....well ya get my point. Always makes me happy to know others are enjoying these edited donghuas.
Just fyi @Father_Snrub since u check in often I typically update donghuas torrents as follows:
5 min episode donghuas update every 40 episodes
7-9 min donghuas update every 25-30 episodes
10-20 min donghuas update every 10 -12 episodes.
Of course I'm always open to suggestions if you've seen a donghua that was interesting and might be a worthy candidate for my style of editing for content...let me know.
Ive been considering tackling another big one - SOUL LAND DouLuo Dalu. Because EVERY episode is a different length this would be QUITE the challenge. Let me know if Soul Land edited for content sounds interesting. Cheers. :-)
