I knew CR hired bottom-of-the-barrel dumpster-fire translators who are willing to work for peanuts, but they are even resorting to highly subculture-specific reddit/tiktok/twitter slang instead of coming up with something more refined and universal. It's pathetic. This is what happens when you hire chronically-online anime tourists who took an interest in the Japanese language in college, I guess. Actual weebs would be embarrassed at this sub script. I hope the other languages got something more refined but I kinda doubt it with CR at this point.
