Description

An edit of Some-Stuffs' subs of Pocket Monsters (2023) episodes 1-3, replacing the Japanese names of Pokémon, moves and the like with their official English counterparts. Made for friends who wanted to watch the new series but aren't familiar with the Japanese names.

I plan on continuing these weekly from next episode on, most likely releasing early on Saturday afternoons.

Now when I see a charmander on screen and they call it hitokage I'll know that they mean the pokemon and not a new hokage.

actually here's some trivia for you - "just about everyone i knew that grew up with pokémon grew up with english names" means i know exactly TWO people who grew up with pokémon this way, back when it was still king of the world (pokémon platinum was about to be released at that time, they never had a DS though and quite frankly me neither) and now i never even see them care about it anymore.

i wasn't making a "soulless" comment, that shit just came straight through my mind because i was genuinely curious about this kind of thought that you people tend to have against anyone that just so happen to prefer english names for everything and now i have to take this shit coming outta nowhere, give me a break.

the dub is not even on my radar atm, and even if i cared about it i'd excise it off of my mind in a hurry if i even so much as listened to it.
