[INCORRIGIBLE] Megalo Box S1 EP1 AI REMASTER EXPERIMENT
Saved on 2023-06-01 22:35:01. This copy includes the description and comments available at capture.
Description
This is an experimental AI remaster of Megalo Box. With the power of ESRGAN, I have wretched quality from this release despite the best efforts of the director to prevent it. Some slight background: This is a digitally produced anime that was purposely released in "HD", or, in other words, a simple bicubic upscale from 720x405. I have remedied this drastic error in judgment.

Doesn't look bad, to be frank.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T KILL ARTISTISTIC INTENT
memes aside it looks fine but megalo box sucks anyway
They already achieved a unique art style without making me feel like I'm watching a 360p pirate stream 🥺
Hi, excellent work. are you going to release the remaining eps?
Yes, I'm working on it. These things... They take time.
Under ideal circumstances, I can upscale 3 episodes per week - but I have not achieved that rate, for various reasons. I'm only halfway done now.
Awesome!! I will be waiting. I wish I could do this for older anime like Windaria and others.
