Thank you, I was waiting for this cliffhanger all week and was not disappointed. In reply to the other comments the main characters ENTIRE "fantasy" platform is based on some pre-teen ideals. He probably rehearsed that line through two timelines until he could unleash it. It is totally cannon for the anime.
