There are other encodes with grain in them, you can watch those if you desire. That's why I posted the comparison.

@SomaHeir bob previously released Gurren Lagann 01-15, but has since deleted them. In fact, you commented on one of those releases.

Do you intend on doing any editing for these, or just basic script QC? I seem to remember Underwater's wording being a tad stiff at least early on; the very first time I watched it I actually preferred Watashi's script for this reason.

I'm basically leaving the script completely alone. Just timing/TS fixes.

Watashi's script is more fun/YOLO than Underwater, but using it would add a lot more work to this release for various reasons. I'm happy with Underwater's script.

Update: OP1a has different tracking/masking, and I don't want to redo it (fixing Underwater's work was bad enough), so I'm gonna leave it out.

I know you're not being serious, but I wasn't happy with FFF's encodes. The very first shot in the show has some serious detail nuking for the chalk thing on the left.

Actually, I wasn't happy with FFF's anything. I have no idea what the point of their release was.
