How good are subs? from what I have seen and heard Netflix subs are bad

It's dub-titles, seemingly. Almost nothing matches what is actually being said. I made it all of 10 minutes into the first episode before I had to stop, just too painful.
The dub-titles have been wrong in every release I've seen so aren't any good when watching the dub either. Looks like they were made by speech to text then autocorrected without any manual review. They're correct on Netflix, so I don't know if they were horribly wrong and got fixed or what

etc etc. All of those in just five minutes of ep 3. Don't know how the subs ended up not accurate to the JA dialogue OR the EN dialogue
Edit: A new favorite also from ep 3 is "not bad for a rookie, rookie" getting subbed as "not bad for wookie-wookie"
Why are there no subtitles for Japanese audio?
None of the numbers show up either, in the second episode when they're discussing a share split it's just "-"
This release is really horrible. The stylized text is tough to read and dubtitles are terrible with numbers missing everywhere for some reason
Yeah, the subtitle font is hard to read and you can't really change it
