This anime series (and several others) are from HIDIVE which provides files with higher compression rate.

I like when I keep seeing "what’s with THIS EPISODE'S size?" as if they are just now noticing it 75% through the series.

What is this-the early 2000's? Goddamn, anyway the fucking streaming services can save on bandwidth they will. The viewers who pay to watch these bit starved streams are getting royally buttfucked.
